Web Summit week · Lisbon · 9 to 12 November 2026
Seventy thousand people arrive in Lisbon in November, and the ones you want to talk to are booked three deep every night. Here is what is still possible, honestly, and what it will cost.

The honest version
Three weeks out, the big rooms are gone. The headline venues near Parque das Nações went months ago, and so did most of Cascais. What is still open, and genuinely good, is the smaller end: restaurants with private rooms, galleries, rooftops, a distillery, a palace courtyard. Rooms for thirty to a hundred and fifty, which is the size that actually works during summit week anyway.
Tuesday and Wednesday are the loudest nights of the week, with the biggest parties and the most competition for the same guests. Monday before opening, and Thursday as people wind down, are where a smaller evening wins.
You cannot out-spend the companies throwing a thousand-person party. A hosted dinner for forty, where everyone knows why they are in the room, is remembered long after the open bar is forgotten.
Venues and caterers in Lisbon charge more that week, often twenty to fifty per cent over a quiet month, and many want paying in full rather than a deposit. That is normal. Knowing it before you ask keeps the negotiation calm.
The people worth having are already over-invited. A direct invitation from a named host, with a reason to come, fills a room that a public sign-up page will not.
If you want help
We are a two person production company in Cascais, working mostly in Lisbon. We find and negotiate the room, bring the catering, the sound and light, the staff and the music, and run the night so you can be a guest at your own event. We have produced in this city for international agencies before, and we are not squeamish about short notice.
Send the date, the rough headcount and what the evening is for. You get a real budget range back within a day, not an invitation to a call.
We are not affiliated with Web Summit. This page is about independent evenings that happen in the same week.
Asked a lot, this month
No, but the choice narrows daily. A dinner for thirty can come together in under two weeks. Three hundred people at this notice means taking whichever room is left, which is rarely the one you wanted.
A seated dinner for thirty to forty in a private room generally starts around 150 to 250 euros a head all in. A standing reception for a hundred and fifty with bar, staff, sound and light usually begins in the low tens of thousands. The room and the menu move it from there.
No. Side events are independent of the conference and most hosts are not sponsors. Anything using Web Summit branding or calling itself official needs their agreement, so independent evenings are described by what they are instead.
Through your own list, directly. Public listings help once the core guests have already said yes, but they do not fill a room on their own that week.
